The truth can hurt sometimes… but it’s good for you! When you live a life based on lies and falsehood, you are a slave to a lifestyle doomed for death and destruction. The truth will always set you free and allow you to walk in the light that God wants you to live in.
Lying is a huge issue for many people, including Christians. It can be tempting to lie when you think it will benefit you in some way, but we must remember sin will always ultimately have a negative effect on our lives. We will never get away with attempting to deceive others as God remembers all things.

We have choices every day about how we act, walk, and talk. Perception is reality and we should always strive to be a delight to God’s perception, because nobody wants to be an abomination… right?

Sometimes we lie to ourselves. We lie to others to convince ourselves that our reasoning is noble or just but we are simply justifying our lying. We think we can justify our falsehood by disguising our deceit with good ideas and plans based on a weak foundation of lies. For many this is a hard truth to accept.

We enslave ourselves when we lie. God calls us to be free from lies and to abide by his word. Here’s an important question: do you want to die a slave to lies or forever live in truth and in freedom?
God Bless you in Jesus Christ’s mighty name.
