We live in a world where we are constantly being fed information, through social media, shows, and propaganda 24/7.

We cannot allow ourselves to become distracted by information that has little value.

We must focus our minds on information that’s beneficial for our spiritual well being, and use our resources to build the kingdom and bless others.

2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.

Colossians 3:2 English Standard Version

We get tied up in the news, politics, nonsense from Hollywood.

What’s worse is we start to compare ourselves with what’s going on in the world. We get anxious, we worry and we get caught up with what’s going on around us and we forget about what’s going on in heaven.

We need to put our focus on God and the best way to do that is to read scripture, pray, and fellowship.

6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace

Romans 8:6 English Standard Version

Our thoughts are important. We have to keep them clean and ask God for  guidance to think heavenly thoughts. This unlocks peace to your life, especially if you have a crazy one.

If we think about sinful things of the flesh, greedy ambitions, lustful desires, and things that are not aligned will, we are doomed for death and destruction.

It really is, all in your head.

7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.

Galatians 6:7 English Standard Version

Don’t fool yourself thinking that because you made it this far thinking the way you do that you are good to go. That’s God’s grace, and we should not abuse it. If we do heavenly things, we can reap heavenly benefits of peace, life, and prosperity. If we think, walk, and act in the flesh, then we will certainly reap strife, stress, and problems that just seem to never end.  What comes around, goes around.
