We are Christ-centered community of believers who believe that Jesus Christ was, is, and always be Lord of All.

It is a common question is what kind of church we are. In paper we are classified as “nondenominational”, however we do not classify ourselves anything other than convicted Christians who want to lead Christ-like lives through teaching, preaching, as well in our our walk, talk, in our minds, and our spirits. The Holy Scriptures is our guide to truth and our connection to the Holy Ghost through Christ Jesus.

Our Church is led by Pastor Steven Patrick Jones II based out of Seabrook, Texas.

Pastor Steve grew up in a non-denominational home and then as he entered his adolescence he lived in Chicago, Houston and has spent the years 2011-2022 in the Republic of Panama studying Christianity, spiritual warfare, and the harsh realities of how cruel the world actually can be but will always testify that there is hope in the name of Jesus Christ and all who call upon him will be saved.

We believe that Jesus Christ can cure ailments, sicknesses, addictions, and has won every battle that you may face in your life.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

Upon This Rock Gulf Ministries recognizes the following:

Jesus Christ was, is, and always will be the Lord and God of all. Revelations 1:8, Deuteronomy 6:4
God is one, and there are no other gods. God is one and is one in any and all dimensions spiritually, physically, or in any way, shape, or form. 1 John 5:8, Isaiah 44:6
The Lord may have many different names, but there is only one God and that is Jesus Christ. John 17:4
God is the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
We recognize that the Holy Bible is the Living Word of God, and that in the beginning there was the word, the word was with God, and the word was God. The word was manifested into flesh, known as Jesus Christ, the Messiah, and savior of this world. John 1:1
We believe in the harmonization of the Old and New Testaments, as well as keeping the Commandments. John 14:15
We must share the gospel in both domestic and international missions or by any means necessary. Mark 15:16
We must bless those who persecute us. Romans 12:14
There is no salvation except that by repentance and baptism through Jesus Christ and you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38
The Holy Ghost renews minds. Ephesians 4:23-24
We must persevere in our faith and constantly challenge ourselves to be the best that God wants us to be. 2 Corinthians 13:5
We must align ourselves with God completely. Matthew 12:30
