God Gives Life Unto All
From the beginning to Christ — one promise, one purpose, one Rock.
The Rock Who Gives Life
“He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.”
God is not random. He is not unjust. He is not confused. He is the Rock.
And yet Deuteronomy 32 shows something tragic. God created. God nourished. God carried Israel like an eagle. And still — they forgot Him.
The same God who gives life… can be forgotten by the very people He sustains.
Life Begins With Him
“Now the earth was formless and empty… and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.”
Before form. Before order. Before nations. Before you.
The Spirit hovered. Life began with Him.
The Promise to Abraham
“I will make you into a great nation… and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
That blessing was never about one tribe. Never about one ethnicity. Never about one generation.
It was about Christ.
“The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed… meaning one person, who is Christ.”
The “offspring” was singular. The fulfillment was Jesus.
Life Through Christ
“Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.”
God gives life. But He gives eternal life through Christ.
“You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus… If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
Jew or Gentile. Slave or free. Male or female.
Life in Christ unifies.
Warning and Mercy
Deuteronomy 32 does not only speak of blessing. It speaks of judgment. When people abandon the Rock… When they chase idols… When they worship what is not God… There are consequences. But the chapter ends with hope:“See now that I myself am He! There is no god besides me. I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal.”
Rejoice With His People
“Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people.”
Today
If you hear His voice — do not harden your heart. You were chosen for purpose. You were called heavenward. You are part of the body of Christ. Stay faithful. Stay unified. Stay surrendered. Pray for believers around the world. We are one body. One Spirit. One Rock.Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those that trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen.
