Prison Ministry

The bible calls to set the captives free.

Prison Ministry

Prison Ministry is a very important ministry. Good people make bad decisions everyday in this country. There’s currently ~2,000,000 locked away in prison in the United States and every single person needs Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This page provides some basic insight on why we believe in Prison Ministry. Remember Jesus Christ didn’t come for the righteous, but sinners.

HEBREWS 13:1-3
Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.

Yes, some people are in prison for big, nasty, and atrocious crimes and may remain there for the rest of their lives. Regardless of their decisions we are here to preach the gospel so that those with a true heart of repentance may receive the nourishment that their soul needs.

Romans 3:23

23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

Every person has sinned in their lifetime. Whether we are inmates or not, we all deserve the same fate: hell.

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord

It’s our duty as Christ’s disciples to preach and teach to all walks of life. Regardless if we agree with what “type” of person we may percieve them to be. As disciples we have several important duties. Two of our wonderful Christian duties are:

1. Preach to all creation (Mark 16:15-18)

2. Make Disciples (Matthew 28:19-20)
